The spec for the locomotive axle box springs appears to be incorrect. The springs as supplied by Lee will not fit on the axle box studs, i suspect the studs should be 5ba as per Don Youngs Derby 4f that this model is based on.

Alan, and any other Q1 builders, apologies. I decided that heavier studs were needed and forgot to change the spring spec from the first loco to the second.

Either stay with 5BA studs or use Lee spring LC-042C-9 which will go over a 3.7mm dia stud.
