7.25″ gauge plans for No.80, a three axle Cail built locomotive, (
Pic here ) currently in the French National rail museum are/used to be available from
STEAM in Biarritz.
The plans are not accurate but make up a nice representation. Some castings to suit the drawings are/used to be available from the same source. Unfortunately for you No.80 is a 7’6″ driving wheel whereas ‘Liverpool’ (the four axle design) was 8′ (I think).
Model Engineer featured a series on ‘British’ Cramptons with outline drawings and some descriptive text and included ‘Liverpool’ , a search through a suitable index should find the series.
I assume that you already know of Mike Sharman’s book ‘The Crampton Locomotive’ which has outline drawings and photos and is pretty-well the definitive text, which has copies of E W Twinings drawings & sections of ‘Liverpool’ and tender – 7mm to the foot.
(Rod beat me to it with info’ about the book)
Regards,
Phil
