Hello all. I would like to learn to braze/silver solder for small projects. For example I have the basic steam engine kit as sold by Forest Classics to practise on. Ideally I would like a complete beginners kit containing everything I need and preferably with good instructions. I have seen kits that contain a torch, flux, solder, pickle and heat bricks but they appear to be for jewellery work. Does anyone know of such a kit?

I have one of the sets you talk about for jewelry and they are fabulous for small work like silver soldering pipes and ferrules etc but for larger work give Cupalloys a call and they can sell all you need and give you some tips as well.
